FromAugust,2008 to July, 2009, as a post-doctor fellow of Terrence Donnelly Centrefor Cellular and Biomolecular Research, worked in a research of chemicalgenomics using bar-coded single gene knock-out haploid yeast mutant populationto identify target of natural anti-tumor chemicals.

Our lab mainly focuses on following researches:
1. making chemical libraries from plant resources.
2. screening drug-like novel chemicals from natural and synthetic resources.
For the best utilization of rich medical plantresources of Yunnan, our lab is trying to set up various natural chemicallibraries in a high throughput screen format used in modern drug discoveryresearches. We are also trying to identify novel drug active chemical throughvarious chemical genetics screens using invitro cell systems of different cancers and hepatitis C established in thelab through chemical genetics screen of chemical libraries from either naturalor synthetic resources, afterwards we will try to dissect the mode of action atmolecular level of these newly uncovered novel molecules.
